sporkfan,

The easiest way to do this is to buy the Alpine XMA-T200RF package. The package includes the XM tuner, AI Net Cable, and an RF converter with an auxiliary input. Wire up the XM tuner to the RF converter with the AI Net cable and your MiniDisc player to the RF converter to the auxiliary input(uses a left and right RCA cable input for the auxiliary input). Connect the RF converter to your antenna lead. The RF Converter has a remote display to control which source to use (XM tuner or auxiliary input).

Only drawback: sound quality is limited to the FM bandwidth of the OEM tuner.

But, at ~ $199 (not including the XM antenna--purchased separately), not a bad deal...

My two cents,

Scott
