GTSteve,
There is no one piece 1.5 DIN unit that is compatible with the "new" 1.5 DIN Chrysler size (Oval corners instead of square corners). Pioneer and a few other manufacturers made/still make 1.5 DIN units that fit older Chrysler and GM vehicles.
There are a few units which claim 1.3 to 1.5 DIN display sizes after the unit opens or slides. Gearhead's Kenwood unit is an example, as is the Alpine CDA-7897. I really enjoy my CDA-7897 (time delay, custom EQ--pick the bands, Q, and boost/cut level, dimmable display with headlights, etc).
If whatever unit you choose is a DIN unit, try the Metra dash kit that includes a pocket beneath the headunit. The kit allows the headunit to be mounted Iso-DIN style (mounted from the sides, just like Japanese cars). This doesn't give a thief a good grip on the unit since it is recessed into the dash kit.
I will try to post pics later...
Scott
