Welcome to the forums. I fully understand your delight in finally getting that 1950s looking hot rod you never got in your first childhood. That's exactly how I feel with mine. Be careful, the mod bug may strike at any time. 
You didn't say where you live. If you're in Southern California I can help you find some groups so that you can have even more fun with your Cruiser. We have some great PT Cruiser owners here in Southern California and many events to pick from.[|)]
Yes, you can get Beach Boys recordings on CD and they sound fantastic!
