We live in the beautiful state of Maine and we love the four seasons. We have traveled to Florida, California and the midwest and my wife and I much prefer the four seasons that we have here. We make the most of it and enjoy each season to it's fullest. From the beautiful New England winter beauty to the beauty of the spring when every thing shows a new beginning of green in leaves, flowers etc, the very high heat of the summer when we enjoy the outdoors the most, to the beautiful fall with the crispy air and colored leaves, why I don't believe it can get any better. Of course being retired allows us the freedom to stay in when the weather is nasty and that alone will change ones out-look. Having indoor hobbies makes it all worth while also.
