Tangerine Leather Seat Problem
I thought I would post this as information, and hopefully to find a cure.
I believe this problem will be unique to Dream Cruiser Series 1 and 2 as the rest of the leather seat cars have dark leather. The DCS1 and DCS2 both have either a gold or tangerine insert.
I was cleaning the car yesterday and noticed that on the driver's side seat beack, right where the lumbar support pushes the back out, that I have some black stains. They resemble how overspray looks on paint, and was also prevelant on the seam between the two halves.
I tried the Lexol cleaner and then the conditioner, as per the directions, but the stains didn't budge. First off, I have no idea what it is, and scondly, how the hell do I get it off?!?! It almost looks like the dye from a black shirt came off on the seat in that spot, perhaps during the winter when I had the seat heater on ?
Will I have to re-dye this seat, and can you re-dye just a portion of a seat like that ?
Any ideas would be cool.
