I have HDTV
and it is awesome. However, as good as the picture is, I could live without it--at least for movies. Just give me a good widescreen DVD picture with DD/DTS 5.1 surround sound and I'm happy. Don't get me wrong. I do like HDTV and the picture is spectacular, but IMHO, it is not something "to die for". I have
Dish Network and receive five HD-channels via satellite: CBS, Discovery HD Theater, HD Net, ESPN-HD, and HD Net Movies. I don't live close enough to Seattle to be able to receive over-the-air HD signals.
