ChromeCruiser, thanks for posting on Zymol, this is worth commenting on. First, like the group says, although I sell my own products, I never try to change anyone if they are happy with what they are doing. I only offer I choice to people, in my opinion, a better one. Since I teach detailing and focus on education the Zymol subject has come up many times in my clinics and here are some facts you should know. First of all, Zymol is a wax (although they advertise their high end estate products as "glazes") glaze in the true definition is similar to a polish, by that it offers no protection, so I think they just like how it sounds, but it is confusing to those in the profession. Next> and this is a fact proven by my peers, "the best wax under the best conditions will last 30 days) I will add to that on driver cars, not ones sitting in storage. With that said, why would anyone wax their car? that has been discussed at length as well on pro forums. I think it is mainly due to lack of knowledge on the advances made on synthetics paint sealants of today, and wax is a more common, user friendly term. The truth is Paint sealants can be easier to use than some waxes. Here is what I don't understand, maybe someone can explain this to me. I went to zymol's web site and did a cut and paste on their prices on esate Glazes (waxes) I have them listed in most expensive to least, Range is from $1,300 - $59.00. Here is the kicker, people are buying this stuff, not Jay Leno, or David Letterman, average folks thinking they are getting the best on the market, in reality they are making someone extemely rich. Next, I did some research on this one. Have you seen the cleaner wax Zymol sells for $9.00 at Walmart? Blue bottle? you may wonder how can this be? well, if you look at the address on the back of the bottle, it is Turtle Wax Headquarters, in Chicago. Like I said, education is the best lane to wisdom. Here is the Price list from their web site.
