Default Re: in a hurry?

Reason for Citrus County calling them crashes.....

Many drivers, after having received a citation where they were truly "at fault" came to the court date with a lawyer and pleaded the case with the definition of an "accident" being: an unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally, typically resulting in damage or injury. Even though the driver was driving to fast for conditions, or not paying attention and the crash could have been avoided, the complainant pleaded "not guilty" as if it was an act of God because of the definition. Calling them "crashes" by definition, only explains what the crash was and not how it might have happened.
