There's a great article in the current Autoweek on this car.Apparently it is now at the Detroit Auto Show and only the very top-level people within the company knew of it's existence as DCX wanted to steal the thunder from Ford with the new Mustang, etc. .It took less than a year to build from the first idea and has some amazing features.Estimated price if it ever went into production, (earliest could be 2005) would be about $450,000.3.4 pounds per HPis better than even the McLaren F1.No carpet, with rubber-foam sandwhich coverd floors, and it's described as a 'Prototype' and not a concept by Deiter Zetsche (CEO).An advanced stability management program will offer a driver-slectable range of at least 3 racetrack modes, one highway, and one street. The suspension is fully hydraulic active. There are no keys but only a secure key fob and a red start button, which turns green when depressed.Testing to verify that it will meet it's intended performance targets (0-60 in 2.9,1/4 in less than 11 seconds, and a top speed over 240MPH) is promised this spring.
