There seem to be more posts regarding pre-me brake jobs. Coming from a Honda family, it was 80k before I had the first (and only) one done. Rotors resurfaced fine. At 30k, my PT has a significant lip on the front outer edges. These things are wearing too fast.
Here's what I am contemplating when they get worn out; go aftermarket. Not Wilwood, etc. but DBA
http://www.dba.com.au/ This manufacturer has replacements for the PT with a variety of surface options. These are bolt-on replacements. Pads I still need to research. I will of course have the job done by a local performance-minded mechanic. DBAs look to be priced about $100 each drilled and painted for rust protection.
I just can't see going back to the source of the trouble for round two.
Hope this helps. Would other care to comment on their (intended) solutions?
