MX-5 gave the link. Read it, then print a copy to have while you work.
I went with champion platinum spark plugs, and Crane ignition wires - the stock wires were starting to give me stumbles after 25-30,000 miles. Since it's not as easy as other cars (but better than a transverse V-6), I wanted plugs & wires that oughta last longer.
Also - I did anti-seize lube on the spark plug threads, and dielectric grease on the plug boots (inside & out).
I followed the "short cut" procedure, using a wood prop to hold things up & out of the way, rather than disconnecting more stuff.
Plan on 2 hours, it shouldn't take that long, but you don't want to rush it and forget to hook something back up.
