Punch, check above. Stall speed is what speed your trans will allow the engine to rev to while holding your foot on the brake, or brake-torquing as many people call it. It has a lot to do with torque, too...if you modify your car to produce more torque, your stall speed will be higher.

Careful, though, holding the brake and the gas heats up the torque converter ad your trans fluid pretty quickly!
