Silver was the #1 choice on my list but I wavered back and forth between silver and electric blue for 3-4 months up to the actual day I placed my order. I actually hadn't made up my mind even the day I ordered until the salesman asked "what color".
What I had done though was look at cars that were ten or more years old and I noticed that no matter what brand of car most of the silver cars looked faded, spotted, or were peeling. Very few silver cars looked as vibrant as one only a couple of years old. I did not notice this same problem with varying shades of blue (I wasn't looking at other colors than those two). That's why I finally decided not to purchase silver...although I still love it as a color and think it is one of the best colors for customizing.
