Question and an Idea on Speakers
Question first,
What is everyone doing with the 2 small dash speakers? Are they tweeters only with a crossover in the stock system? are the door speakers woofers only? they sound like it. If I replace, do I go with components?
Now the idea,
I see what everyone means by the rear speakers pointing into the rear seats, I folded down the rear seats and what a difference. I popped of the trim panel and it looks like there is room in there to make a custom bracket that would tip the speaker so it is at a better angle. I am thinking of a wedge bracket with an inch or so build up on the bottom, and very thin at the top.
Does this make sense to anyone else? If so, does anyone have ideas of how to do this? Maybe a TAP plastic store would sell a wegde shaped piece of plastic, or someone with wood working skills? Seems once we have the wedge, a jig saw could trim it to fit.
