Look at the knuckle before you start pounding. IIRC there is a cut out where the stud will fit out... Meaning you may need to look at the back while using common sense to see that there is room for the stud to slide out. If you skip this step you may end up with the stud wedged between the hub and the knuckle. So look, think, and rotate the hub so you have clearance behind before you start pounding

I would change all 5 if it were my car. They're cheap and easy
