Default Re: new thermostat but still no heat from heater any ideas

After you have driven the Pt Cruiser, letting the engine cool off, is the coolant level still at the top when you remove the radiator cap every time?

Heater core may be plugged or there's air in the engine coolant system. First thing we need to do is verify there is no air in the coolant system.

You want to do the basic diagnostics before jumping to replacing the heater core or taking the dashboard apart only to find out there is air getting into the engine coolant system.

What year is your Pt Cruiser and how many miles?
