The real point of taupe is to have the lighter of the two colors. I think that a dark interior in a convertible is just asking for pain on a sunny day, especially if you are wearing shorts.
By the way, does anyone make cloth seat covers for the PT Cruiser? Not so much to protect the leather seats (although that's a nice benefit) but to protect my rear from the hot seats in the sun. Thanks.
