hyracer, right you are cause I still have my 85 mph speedo on my Mustang GT with an honest top speed of 140 mph. Get this, they put on a 2.83 rear end gear for economy but that makes for a completly unreasonable top end!! So they put on an 85 mph speedo!! I burry that thing almost every time I am on the freeway passing some truck!! Of course now they can put top end restrictions via the computer!
