If I may, what's your reason for wanting to dispose of the sunroof? Is it not working?

Mine had an issue where it wouldn't close sometimes. It was as simple as replacing the entire overhead console. Cost me about $8 at the junkyard or $15 on eBay.

If the issue is leaking, then you need to check the sunroof drains, located in the 4 corners. They're little holes that can fill up with crud. Try vacuuming or compressed airing them out.
