While I'm on it.........people need to learn more about bears. "If your charged, you should drop and play dead." <---- No, If your attack you should drop. When charged you stand your ground, Hold your arms out and talk to the bear in a soft tone(dont come on to him[8]). "Throw your backpack down, its got food and he wants it."<--- Thats it. 2 feet of padding that could protect your back need to be off.[xx(]
Here is my fav......They tell you to play dead but never talk about time of day. Many people have died cause they were attacked at NIGHT and played dead when they would be fighting........At night the bear is only there for ONE reason.....FOOD, and your the plate of the day[}
