Mighty hot is a good way to put this... I spent 3 weeks comparing the intake temp of a stock setup vs the BTG and found that the BTG averaged 20 degrees hotter over outside temp. The big difference was in stop-n-go where it was often over 160F around the BTG filter compared to the stock filter hanging in at around 120F. This is on a 85-90 degree day.
