broken motor mounts?
Hi everyone,
I own a 2004 pt turbo and It's been great but, I've noticed a klunking coming from the lower driver-side part of the engine everytime I start and there is a lot of vibration and shuddering when actually driving the car now. I've installed Stage 1 and the amx intake and UCP and been beating the car fairly hard this past week-launching it and testing out the performance. I think it may be the motor mounts, but from what I gathered, there are only two...one on the top and one on the lower part of the engine on the passanger side...yet I'm feeling the klunking on the driver side. It is a distinct klunking noise everytime I start up and I can feel it through the floorpan. Any suggestions on causes? I'm looking into replacing the motor mounts with the Psi-Fi motorsports ones, but I'd like to be sure this is the case before I invest in them.
