I appreciate the wisdom Sci-Fi brings to this board. I try to attend every seminar possible that every chemical company hosts around my area. The chemistry circit is a tough one to follow, even if you are in this business like I am. The car care industry is a multi-bilion dollar business. Every company is overstating claims, and creating hype to unsuspecting buyers. The bottom line is it works. Five star, fire glaze, crystal guard, the protector, and numerous others too many to mention are in the game. I appreciate the ones that tell it like it is, without the smoke. My chemists and suppliers I trust, becuase they have earned it. Plain and simple, wax will last around 30 days, a sealant (under various names/brands) should give you 4-6 months of protection.
Here is my rule of thumb, most reputable companies don't make a full line of products that are outstanding, But many of them do make a handful of products that are decent to excellant, the trick it to find them. Thats where my job comes in to place, I try to seperate the smoke from the air so you can see the light. (wow, that sounds like I should write poetry) [|)]
