It all goes back to making it illegal because of the goofballs who screw up a good thing.

cf. cell phones whilst driving. Many of us have enough sense to drive and talk on the phone safely, but there are too many morons out there who cannot and thereby bring this practice into legal scrutiny.

cf. guns. Criminals have spoiled it for the legal guy.

cf. Mopar warranty issues. I understand Mopar's "as is" policy. Undoubtedly, a few pinheads who blew their stuff up invoked the warranty and DCX probably found themselves paying for more for others' mistakes rather than an actual faulty part. Now we all suffer, thanks to the pinheads. Fortunately, there still seems to be a few dealers who can use good judgement and discretion and exercise the lattitude DCX affords them.

DUI? The sooner those people splatter themselves around a telephone pole, the safer the rest of us will be.

Kid hits the bong? Beat him with it. Oh, wait, that is illegal now. If you smoke, yet expect your kids not to, quit being a hypocrit, your words are meaningless.

You cannot substitute good sense with government; I am for a more anarchistic, survival-of-the-fittest governmental approach. Rome did not survive by passing exponentially more legislation and neither will we.

Whatdaheck was the topic? Oh, name change. You have to keep your product fresh and contemporary ("trendy") to create and cater to customer demand. Besides "SRT" sounds more sexy than "PVO".
