It wouldnt do a lick of good...

This is why a "cold" air intake isnt very helpful on a GT. Successful cold air intakes are just that because they incorporate some form of "ram air."

When air flows from your box it goes into the the turbine, which is extremely hot. The intercooler's job is to cool this air as much as possible before it reaches the cylinders.

Now Im not saying 60 degree air isnt better than 80 degree air, but Id rather have that cold air going into the engine than the turbo.
