If you want to really improve the cooling effectiveness of the charged air, I would get a much larger front mount intercooer, and a different body kit, which would allow more air to enter the cooler. The stock one is pretty large, but the opening isn't designed for optiomal cooling, rather a blend of styling and usefullness. Also A water sprayer kit, Like the Mitsubishi Lancer evo has, which would help to disipate the heat in the intercooler would be much more effective. Cooling the air before it enters the turbo has zero usefullness, cause it is going to just get hot when it is compressed.

A heat shield to keep the plumbing from the intercooler to the manifold, and the manifold itself cooler, would be of some usefullness.

Don't forget that the stock computer, is going to take into acount alot more than just charged air temp when calculating boost, injector pulsewidth, and timing advance.
