Thanks AC, but for my use the cost of Stage 2 isn't something I'm willing to do, at least not based on tentative pricing I've seen thrown around. Stage 1 is pretty cheap, really, and I don't plan on racing, I just want more grunt. As for the BOV being a nice noise maker, yeah, I've read all about that and don't really care about the noice one way or the other. I'm more interested in turbo life - as you mentioned - and elimiating that dead spot just before shifting.
