Thanks for all the input. I didn't expect the BOV to add anything with regards to HP, just thought it might lessen the impact on the turbo or reduce that lag. If the programming in the PCM takes care of that then great.
Jason_L, sorry to hear your PT seems to have, according to your 6 yr old, a lower intestinal disorder!
Cal Cruzer, I bought my PT at Tuttle-Click Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep at the Tustin Auto Center. I spoke with the service manager there several weeks ago about Stage 1 and brought in one of his techs. Seems this particular tech has Stage 1 on his SRT-4, and these guys had just had a discussion with DCX about same. They said that as long as I'm buying a DCX part and they are installing it they won't negatively impact my warranty. This is the second car I've purchased from these guys, and they seem to be a pretty respectable operation. I'm going back next week to discuss further and make an appointment for the install. I'll keep you posted.
