Well we are are Baltimore city water, but it allways spots real bad, I have to use a "water blade" very quickly after I wash it to keep from spotting. The instructions say the filter is good for ten uses, but the "starter" is only good for three. They turn brown as you use it, when totally brown you aresupposed to change it. To me it is worth it, these cars are a pain to dry with all the curves ect. I have allready told my wife to pick up more soap and filters the next time she sees them.
