Talking to a lot of turbo guys our intercooler is a nice size.. You can go too big on intercooler where it is not efficient.. I don't want to get all technical on you guys but of the week links the intercooler is not one on the PT.. You can buy an intercooler sprayer for really cheap if you want..

But the original question was can you tap into the uppercharge piping to get colder air into the airbox.. For that you have to look at the airpath that the air goes..

From the airbox or intake forced through the turbo around through the intercooler (to cool the air) then up the uppercharge piping to the throttle body.. if you took some of the air out of the uppercharge piping back to the airbox or intake then you would be taking the air that is about to go into the throttle body (in the engine) and resurculates it back at the start of the air system..

You could use an ice box for the track like some turbo cars where it is cooled by an ice box in the system but for every day driving this wouldn't be practical.. ADAM
