OK I am not a dual exhaust guy.. this guy at the Chrysler event a couple months ago stood up and was all pissed off why Mopar didn't make a true dual exhaust for the non turbo pt's meaning he wanted the exhaust manifold to come off in two pairs so there would be two pipes going down the length of the car.. WTF.. There is way no need for that as I hate to say but there is no need for dual exhaust for the turbo PT.. It is cosmetic only.. I know I am going to piss a lot of you off but if you want more flow then go bigger pipe.. I do see how going out the muffler you might .. I say might get a slight more flow out of two mufflers than one.. but really you are getting a quieter sound out of two mufflers as you would one straight through design or no muffler at all.. But for some dual exhaust people this is there cup of tea. I like it when anyone puts some thought into making there car or truck different from the norm.. So for all you dual exhaust people keep doing what makes you happy..
But as for the question that is normal for most systems since the exhaust will find the less restrictive way out and that will be from one of the sides more than the other.. ADAM
