I have seen you type this in other threads as well, and I'll tell you it just doesn't make sense. If this were the case, you wouldn't need a spark plug, you could just put a turbocharger on the car, bypass the intercooler, and the hot air would ignite the gasoline as it entered the combustion chamber. I just don't think it's true. If it was, you sure as heck couldn't use plastic pipes for the intercooler, as they would melt with air several hundred degrees travelling through them and into the intercooler.
The turbocharger fins and compression heat the air slightly, but certainly not to several hundred degrees.
