If you believe that story, I have a bridge to sell you![:X]
Stop me when I sound totally off base:
1) If they have run out of PCMs then all 2.4 turbos cannot be produced.
2) I am having a hard time believing that a major manifacturer cannot find a fuel injector.
3) Two increased pressure sensing devices are not $1000 in price.
4) One added piece to the turbo presure management system on a current turbo cannot be the linchpin!
5) If they are holding up the S2 kit because of the toys.... they are a lot less intelegent than I originally supposed. Most S2 buyers would like to buy the raw HP and make their own water sprayer anyway and keep the cost within reason. (When you approach 10% of the cost of the original vehicle you will not find many buyers)
This looks more like the keystone cops issue that once was proposed than ever before.....remember, they had a mandate to put this kit togeather well over a year ago, and they have done their level best to frustrate the aftermarket so they(DC) would be the sole source for go fast goodies.
[:I]Maybe Daimler is looking at outsourcing the performance division, since they, and others, are putting the jobs in the orient, might as well put the speed parts where people with jobs can buy them![:I]
