I had them on a previous car and thought it would be a good maintenance item. What ended up happening was warped rotors... and reduced brake dust.
They
initially seem like a good idea, but as sakigt said "they look like crap". Even if you are okay with putting a lid on your brakes, the black coating on them eventually starts to look chalky

Get some P21S wheel cleaner and when the brakes come due, get the good pads. Also, get
new rotors (not OEM!!) and shoot them with hi temp paint. Check out
