Saki,
stock system works fine. If you go wider tho, how the pipe clears the rear axle is important. With new springs there is more suspension travel and contact with suspension components is more common. Granted if the car is lowered when you put the exhaust on, you can prolly adjust the pipe around the axle.
I had this problem with my Borla on my 01 and with the Bassani on my 03. You'll find peeps with no probs, this is just my experience.
