Jimbo;

Just went through what your asking. I removed the one in the cargo area. You get to the back side through the jack storage area. It just pulls out, but you need to help push from the backside. After seeing this and realizing that their is a tit on the rubber piece to hold it in place (rotation) I cut the plug piece off with an exacto knife. I cut the other two off as well. I guess it depends on how much you want to get into it. I installed my MGW accessory plugs, Lighter, PT plug and EJECT plug. Figured I had no need for the stock plugs anymore. Also, the remaining rubber acts like a washer and I felt it would keep the outlet itself snug. I didn't want it loose and rattling
