No, tightening up the rear induces understeer (push). The idea is to reduce roll, keeping the full contact patch of the tire to the road. Less roll control in the rear induces an oversteer condition because the inner tire will have more of a tendancy to lift. These cars already push a lot being FWD. We used to play with this a lot by means of adjustable drop links that we could dial in for conditions on a 914 that we used to race .
