I think the "point" of the post was that it is not everything it was "hyped-up" to be.
If something is advertised as performing, the price is not the issue.

Originally, I heard about the Autodry from a TV commercial.
Watching the commercial, I thought GREAT!!! This will make things easy as I watched water immediately disappear from the finish of the car and was totally spotless.

Why would I not expect the same performance?

What would be the difference if the product was $20 or $100..., it was advertised to do something, which I expected it to do.

"IF" it did work as "advertised", it would have been my favorite product in my detailing arsenal. However, after testing, I still had to dry the cars to get a perfectly spotless finish.

Point is, it is not everything it was said to be
