They do show off the brakes quite a bit. No so great with the wimpy stock rotor size(4 wheel discs on the GT's).
The wheels are made by ABT. This model, named the Z5, is made by BBS in Germany for VW/Audi applications. What's funny about the 5x100 VW stuff, is that the center bore on the hubs is identical to the PT! No hubcentic ring needed. The only catch(yes, one minor one) is that most German manufacturers use a ball-seat style stud to hold the wheels on. Meaning, in the lug pocket of the wheel, where our lugs sit against the wheel, that surface is round. Our PT on most domestic vehicles use a 60 degree flat taper-seat lug. I managed to find a company that make washers to use these ball-seat wheels with a flat-taper lugnut. Sweet huh?!
REDRUM- thanks for the tip!
This is the wheel i've got on the car...
