If you do road rallys and drive hard and use your brakes 110% of the time then I can understand your point. Most cars on the road don't even have these openings. The guy who I got the mod from drove for over three years and never had a problem with his rotor. I've had my 2" hose for 5 months and I haven't had a problem.
