If the 03 has a fairly decent price cut compared to the 04...go for it. The reason I say that is because the 03 will take a larger drop in depreciation as soon as you drive it off the lot because it is already one year old.
Other than that the two model years are virtually identical. You probably won't even be able to tell the differance the extra 5 HP the 04 has...and if you add Stage 1 the HP is the same for both model years.
