the autometer pod still requires you to drill four holes to put small pins in to attach to the stock A pillar. All you need to do is set the pillar in place on the A-pillar. Once you know how you like it and if it is seated ok, mark 4 spots on the pillar and drill holes. The place te pins to hold the two together. Remember, the A-pillar is an inexpensive replacement part. I suppose you could tape the pillars together using 2 sided tape...
