They'd have to show me more proof before getting my money.
I don't think it could increase exhaust flow significantly back there. By the time the gases are there, they've already cooled quite a bit. With cooling, they're more dense with less pressure... already providing some suction effect.
But you can get it for looks if you think it's pretty!
