The catch can is a good idea. If you notice that the foam filter in your air box is getter saturated with oil, take it out and clean it with a detergent and put it back in. That will cut down on the oil dripping down into the air box.

I checked with a "5 Star" dealer who could not find the little foam filter in his parts list. He checked with the service folks and they told him "we just throw those things away when they get dirty." WRONG ANSWER!!
