If you live in the snow belt and they salt the street, its best to have a second set of tires/wheels. Let one take the beating till summer comes. Thats my plan when I need new tires. Thanks to Sci-Fi, he reminded me to take my wheels off and clean them. even painted the wells. My back is killing me.
