There is a shorter cut as QSD stated. The only things to take off are the five small upper manifold bolts, the 2 EGR bolts on the back of the engine, and one bolt that attaches the upper manifld to the throttle body. Also the intake tube that comes from the air filter needs to come off of the throttle body. There's a black rubber tube on the right side and depending on the air filter you have, sometimes that has to be taken off where it attaches to the manifold. No electrical connections need to come off, just lift up the front of the manifold and use some sort of tie to keep it away as you change the ignition parts.
