It,s getting close for Bk's second oil change, and am a little
unclear about this warranty stuff. Since this is the first new
car I've ever owned, and I'd like to take of the oil changes
on my own. It's such a hassle to go to the dealer and have
them do, and don't want to void the warranty in any way
that they can use as an excuse not to cover a repair claim.
There's a local shop I'd rather go to, or maybe once in a while
change it myself in the yard. I'm sure the receipt from the shop
would be enough proof for DC, but what would you use when
you do it yourself? And I'm sure this was covered in other
threads but what would the best weight sythetic to use, I
put 5W30 in the last time? Is there different oil weights that
should be used according to seasons? Spring is finally here, Oh yey.
