I dont know about clearance issues but a low profile when plus sizing wheels is going to wake your kidneys up on every tar strip you hit, my 18's on my former truck took 52 lbs of air to keep that tiny sidewal ridge. For all things to stay correct, spedo, trany sensor,ABS, Traction control, you need to plus size correctly!
