say to save time does anyone know if the pt key has a battery in it. i had extra keys made and used one of the duplicate keys to start the car, of course it would not stay running. i did the same thing with the original key by the columb and the car ran fine. i also want to add a remote starting system to this car and will have to get around that key. if i was to place the key inside the columb wire tyied to it somwhere will it keep working forever or will it use up the batt (if it has one) and then i will have to remove the key and get a new one. costs tons of money.
