My boyfriend just installed S2 on his SRT-4. He didn't have any problems with the install -- everything fit and worked perfectly. One of the advantages of buying S2 is that you get a part that is perfectly tuned and made specifically for your vehicle.
The first time he took me for a drive in the car, you could instantly feel a huge gain in power and torque.
More power also means bigger traction issues. The first time he took it to the track he ran a 13.9 but trapped at 107 MPH! Mind you, the modified LS1 next to him trapped at 108MPH and ran a 12.7. The temperature outside was a blistering 91 degrees, at 400FT above sea level. He has no other modifications done to his car other than S2.
Maybe people are having problems because they are using other manufacturers parts and expecting everything to work correctly. Or perhaps they just don't know what they are doing. I'm not making any assumptions, but I don't know why they aren't happy with S2. From my own experience I would highly recommend S2 to anyone.
S2 hasn't even come out for the GT yet, so I wouldn't make a decision until you see what it can do for our cars. It's all about perspective.
